Job Details:
Primary responsibilities include:
Effectively delivering patient care in the cardiac cath lab through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
Registered Nurse with current license in the state you are applying to, BSN preferred
Current CPR (BLS) certification
Current ACLS required and CCRN preferred
Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
Two years critical care and/or cardiology experience required
Demonstrated ability ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with hospital policy and governmental regulations
Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service delivery skills
Excellent experience leading and facilitating a wide variety of diverse patient groups required
Ability to assess needs, identify problems, explore alternatives and implement solutions
Demonstrated ability ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with hospital policy and governmental regulations
Ability to use audio/visual equipment, telephone and other clinical equipment for patient teaching
Knowledge of basic computer operations and use of word processing and clinical documentation software
