Job Details:
Overview: Provides patient care support services in the Emergency Department under the supervision of an RN.

Special Skills: Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills, knowledge of basic medical terminology required.

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. One-year experience in acute care setting as nursing assistant or Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, EMT, or Nurse Extern (completed block one/first year of nursing school). CPR required.

Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT). At least six months experience in a hospital or emergency room setting as a Unit Secretary, EMT or CNA.
