RN L&D Pool Nights

Job Details:
Primary responsibilities include:

 

Providing professional nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit.
Coordinating care planning with other healthcare disciplines
Rendering individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs
Acting as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care
Systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals
Participating in hourly rounding
Observing safety guidelines and safe work practices
May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift(s)
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

 

Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
Current CPR  (BLS) certification
NRP certification
Current registered nurse license in the state you are applying to
